IMO the sportiness of a car has very much to do with the weight of the car.
The MX5 has a tiny engine, but in my opinion it's more sporty then an M6.

The MX5 could easily outhandle a M6 on a tight course = it being more sporty.

That being said, I would preferr the M6.

They do actually. They just never make it to the United States. (ie. the e90 320si)

the E90 320si is heavier than the 135, which is still a pig.

                            i didn't know the v8 was a bigger heavier engine than the v 10.
I always looked at the m6 as the bmw muscle car.
I just feel that m6 should have the most powerful engine bmw has to offer.
the truck engine vrs car engine?
                            ford and chevy 302,454,351,289,350 ect
my understanding is the biggest difference was always what cams might have been used and rear end gears.
I like the m6 just wish they step up the HP.
bmw has other engines with turbo's why not the m6?
if the x6 m has 555 hp i feel the m6 should have that if not more.
My main point was m6 is the muscle car of bmw and the history of cars the muscle car has the most hp engine option.
