He has had it up for sale for years iirc. Search s14 and you will see his add from a few years back. He also posted the cabby replica a few years back for sale.

no one ever said he was trying to completely duplicate the car to its exact attire or performance package. Just sucks that he ripped like that.

I've received a lot of emails within the last month expressing interest in this car. It was never really officially for sale (sans the old ad on s14 and an ad on bimmerforums).
Instead of replying to everyone with full list of mods and a tons of pics, I've put it on ebay, so everyone can see and read and get the info.

Don't pay attention to what the morons on bringatrailer are saying, they got no clue.

When the BMW CAR magazine heard about this M3 they flew in the photographer from England to do the photoshoot, that's how it started with Darren and all the american owned BMWs in Performance BMW and BMW Car magazine. We did a photoshoot of this car and then the Porsche for the Carrera GT magazine, then I introduced Darren to Rui Azevedo and then they started to shoot all the cars on the east coast, snowball effect :D

the price does seem kind fo high, but when you do the breakdown of all the parts on it, it will proly get to $70k

carbon fiber airbox alone was $2k
Alpha N, PTG DME and custom tunning $2k
front and rear full Big Red Brembo Kit $4k
Adjustable cabin brake booster with Hydraulic E-brake and all new hardware $1k
                  BBS RS 212& 198 w/flat caps over $3500
Ground controls with all the bushings etc.. over $2k
                  Digital Euro dash $1500

and the list goes on and on and on...

What was up with every body saying they would take the stickers off? I don't get why they would even comment on it if they didn't know what it was.

these people are clueless... they may not know anything about e30 m3 or the DTM in general, maybe a chevy or ford guys just active on the internet, posting away. To them it may look like a Nascar car or something, I don't know. Ignorance is a bliss

Hahahaah I made a comment under 'r3vlimited for the win'

The funny thing is I barely know anything about DTM myself, but I just wanted to sound knowledgeable and flame the other commenters hahahaha

I've always enjoyed watching DTM videos though! lol

Edit: aw man.. I just realized my comment says "awaiting moderation," they probably won't approve my comment lol.

Dude, no need to defend your build. It's really, really well done and I like everything about it. Keep in mind those guys on BaT dig Renault's, Fiat's, NSU's etc. They know not of what they speak.
