    Dammmittttt wtfff

I have a mint condition dash... I keep it out of direct sunlight and always use a sun shade in my windshield.

    WHY IS IT STILL CRACKING!?@#**$@*@@

Ive got two small cracks on the passengers side that are slowly getting bigger. Is there anything I can use to seal the cracks or stop them from creeping???

Im fucking pissed I dont want to swap my dash out. Its a pain in the ass!!!

If you drill a small hole at the end of each crack it will help keep it from spreading.

Even with a sunshade parking it out of sunlight the plastic still expands and contracts with heat, that's probably what makes it crack.

I park mine directly in the sun and its still minty fresh. I heard armor all causes your dash to compact and rip :/ gldude

I started using a UV protectant though, well I applied it once in June.

I only use a moist rag to wipe my dash, stay away from anything that makes it greasy.

I agree that armor all sucks. Putting a petroleum product on plastic just does not make any sense. I use saddle soap every now and then to keep it clean or, as another member stated, a damp cloth when I wash the car. It also helps to leave your windows cracked so the inside does not get as hot.

                  Cheers,

                  Jim
