    Well, after talking to a friend's dad (lifelong mechanic), I'm feeling pretty confident that the slave cylinder is the cause of my tranny woes. The ebay SSK probably isn't helping, but I'll know fo sho as soon as I can bleed the slave cylinder..

    I lost a good friend to suicide earlier this year. He left behind a sweet 2002.
    Caring for the car/ enjoying it would be the best way to honor him, so don't worry about it!

    I also love my little rusty 318is, but even in deplorable condition this M3 is a blast. Plus i got 31 mpg on the 6hr highway ride home :)

    I have no problem driving the car, the events surroundimg it are just very unfortunate.. And to the others here: ya i like e30's, ive owned 3 and still have one. I, however, realize there ARE other cars out there...

    Yeah the dad is a great guy. He wants me to send the certificate and plates back. He's gonna make a little monument and the plates have been his son's for many years i guess.
