Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.

also you can fuck with the AFM you wont break anything or fuck anything up just mark the gear where it was before you fuck with it. I've moved mine a few clicks.
Check your coolant temp sensor will cause major problems if its bad. Ill bet money that it is the coolant temp sensor.

Bringing this back to life. I had a local shop run her on a dyno and fiddle with the afm. Nothing. I just kept running really lean between those rpms. added to the above list of replacement parts are a new o2 sensor, fuel pump, and coil. Still nothing. I've swapped ecu's, afm's, known working parts for questionable ones. I've even pulled the bavauto wires and put oem ones on. Nothing. I have just about run out of hair. Maybe it's time to shop for an s50? At least the headache of swapping a motor is progress. With what I've spent thus far, I'd be at least a third of the way there.
So I beg you all, please, if you have any ideas or sage advice, keep me from ripping this motor, and what is left of my hair, out before spring.
Cheers,
AJ

Update. Drove her to work and now my warm up issue is now a full operating temp issue. Won't rev past 3000 and running very lean. Fuck it. Time for a swap.

She bucks like crazy. Can't even power through it any more. I just tried starting her and she idles fine, but now won't rev past 1500. It will be a long drive home.

Yes yes and yes. The grounds are spotless, no vacuum leaks, and the cps has no cracks or wear from plug to sensor.

Perfect.
I am wondering if fuel is being cut at the same time spark is. To check, grab a 194 light bulb. (steal one out of your sidemarker if you are cheap) Bend the U shaped metal contacts straight. Unplug the #1 fuel injector, and plug the 194 into the connector. Fire up the car. It will have a miss, but take a look at the light, note how it behaves when you slowly increase RPMs and rapidly increase RPMs before it starts bucking. It should be dim at first, and get brighter with more RPM/load.
Now, get it to buck. What does the light do?-Dave

Well to progress this further without a bulb test, fuel is cut out at the time of bucking. From what the dyno test said, it was across the board.
