    custom intake??

To clarify, I have an 87 eta with a k&n filter and shitty ebay heat shield and love the sound so please don't try to talk me back into the stock airbox cuz it ain't happenin. That being said, the proformance (I think) heat shield is ass and I wanna make it so I get more outside air. The filter is right behind the headlights and I feel like there's no real airflow to the filter. What can I do to give it a better cold air source. I heard you could run pipes and stuff from the front of the car from a friend but that doesn't seem like its happening due to absolutely nowhere to run it. Does anyone have a pic or any advice for creating a better intake using my heatshield and kn filter? I don't wanna remove a high beam either...

Thanks guys any input would be awesome. And if you don't feel like helping me out at least use this as a chance to show off your cool shit =D

I think you should remove a highbeam, and go back to using the stock airbox.

dont remove the high beam if you are going to use the stock airbox, in the winter you are going to take a lot of rain in the box thus youre going to take in moist air, this is no bueno.

            just turbo it!

basically you just need a nice 3" duct to get a decent amount of outside air.
the spot in between the lights works great.

my old setup sounded and performed amazing, but.... I couldn't get a decent deal on the True flow's so I only made and sold around 5 or 6 kits

you could try to mimic this it worked great

I thought about that but it didn't look like that much air was gonna make it through. Should I just put a hose through the stock piece of plastic that directs air to the stock box?

Sounds like you should probably invest in a honda civic.

I would if I didn't like cars that look pretty and drift crazy. Not to mention the gsa mileage and sexy interior. I just like the sound of an intake. That's like sayin someone with a mean exhaust should invest in a mitsubishi eclipse. Cmon man don't hate

The stock box is literally the best cold air intake.

If you want noise, just drill holes in the bottom of your stock box.

How old are you kid? 16? I use to be a dumb ass but I was never this bad.

If you spelt half decent and didn't make big rambling paragraphs you wouldn't seem so ignorant.

Whats this gas mileage you speak of? I get like 15 mpg in my m20b25 with the a/c on.

Lol 20 and I get like 30mpg with my eta.

I knew I shouldn't have bothered after reading someone else get shot down for having a kn filter.

Hopefully I seem less ignorant because I hit return twice everytime I type a sentence.
