Good call. I didn't plan on going through LA, just using the google maps to get a rough idea of my general path. If I can go around LA that would be great, last time I was there traffic sucked, and it was a maze.

if you have a AAA membership, now is a good time to use it. go and get one of those TripTek things, they map out your trip and tell you the best routes. free for members, plus at least in san diego, you can oogle at all the hot college chicks that work there. oh yeah, a CB, scanner, and V1 are all cool toys to have on a road trip.

Looks like next weekend is going to be my final tech day with one of my best friends, and aside from that, the man who taught me damn near everything I know about E30's.

Congratulations on the job, Jordan. From the second Kristin told me about it, I knew with 100% certainty that you were going to get it. There was no doubt in my mind. I know that you're going to be happy there, finally doing something you love. This kind of opportunity only comes along once in a lifetime, and I'm glad you're taking it.

As soon as you nail down the date you are leaving, you need to let me know. I'm still in for being the co-pilot on your drive down.

I might do a going away party. Not sure.

No AAA here. I would really like to borrow someones V1 for the trip, but I don't know anyone that has one that would be willing to do that for me.

I need to figure out my exact path so i can find where i will stop to rest.

And not ONE mention of ME!! The woman you will be living with, the woman that brought the whole damn thing together in the first place!

Okay, one mention of me, that shout goes out to my man Joshy-poo.

Jordan, you might try calling The Grand Reserve At Sunset Valley, and tell them you will take the SMALLER one bedroom!
