It must be a Corvallis thing... I've never had anybody put the wrong grade of gasoline into my car, and all of the attendents in Sherwood seem to be pretty competant. I've never had any trouble with stations in Eugene either... Ted, you must be filling up on the West side too often lol

I pumped gas all the way through high school at a locally owned store/gas station. The people who owned it were awesome, it was fun working outside all the time, I got to see all kinds of awesome cars, and it was a great high school job.

I have to agree. I pumped gas all summer at the gas station next to my house and it was possibly the best job for a high school kid ever. Ive been thinking about doing it again this summer to supplement my income. It was the easiest job and it provided me with free lift access. Proved pretty valuable when I owned my e30Back to my roots

because oregon is the epitome of the welfare state.. the government thinks it needs to hold your hand all the time.
It creates thousands of jobs.

Its a tough situation. on the one hand, I'm glad people have jobs - on the other who cares if they cannot perform their duties adequately. It's a great job for young people, especially young people with a passion for cars. Its a bad job for pissed off people with disregard for other peoples posessions or people who do not have the capability to properly perform the task asked of them.PNW Crew

The compassion for this disabled guy here is just inspiring. At least this fellow's trying to do a job, even with cognitive problems and neuro damage inspired hand palsy. You think he deliberately hurt your car?? Ask the damn station to do a little better training, which is the REAL problem here. And a failure for the station to be accountable for the big fucking deal chip financially. Anyone here have any relatives that they would ALLOW to be called "Retards" ?

The station has a full responsibility to compensate, it seems that Jordan has enough evidence, and before the fuss gets out in public, I'm sure they will shell out the 300 bones (no pun intended) :)
It doesn't matter if it was deliberate. If the guy can't do his job, he shouldn't be working.
EDIT: Training is not the problem. Problem is hiring someone who is incapble of doing the given job.~ Go Canucks Go! ~
