Wasn't raining or anything but I had just put in my Dinan chip and went around the block for a spin. Came to a light turning left and the street I was turning on to had a cement rain gutter/dip. Had fun with our FWD Camry on these so thought what the heck, I'll try breaking loose. There was a little stream of water in it but I disregarded it. Took off in first, waited till the back tires hit perfectly, and gassed it. The wheels damn sure broke loose and stayed that way for about 20 feet. I kept it straight but I failed to see the 5 or so various joggers in the area, one couple being our now-new neighbors. Said eff it and broke loose at the next stop sign :P

Yes. I have run out of talent at a very low speed in the past....When I was 10.

Doing as you did in front of the wimminz is a major fail.

just go out to a industrial area at night when its raining and practice scenarios of your car sliding. It happens a lot with me to, but Im used to it. Put my spare tire back in the trunk to have more weight in the rear. Just baby the shifts if you dont want to spin. I have tires with 90% thread, and i baby my turns nice and easy.
But still its not so bad in the E30, its easy to regain control. Now my Jag is a whole different story.

So you spun out driving in a straight line?
I never spun out before, I've been sideways but always reacted quick enough to get it under control. My tires don't help either.

I spun out in a u-turn and did a 270* spin, regained my composure, and drove away. This was in pouring rain btw.

there does seem to be a great deal of tallent here.

I would suggest "not" flooring it and dropping/popping/kicking, the clutch in the rain(especially during a turn) on a public roadway if you are not smart enough to figure out what might happen next....

                    fi-siks p'wns meh...

Ive done a 180 once when I had my balding tires on a rainy day getting on the freeway, good thing there were no cars in my line or anywhere nearby. Super scary.

I have never 180'd my car on accident in the rain, even when intentionally messing around. I don't get how all of you are doing this involuntarily?
