it wont fit right without the bolts , the black rubber is soft so the bolts mold it to our trunks pretty good , i got mine from the pic n pull for 15 bucks , i always thought the forums were for enthusiast's helping other enthusiast's not an additional sorce of income ( people ripping other people a new one for some of this stuff )

Interesting, thanks for the info. I still haven't gotten a chance to look at the two and see exactly what the problem is.

there is no problem , it is slightly wider , and the studs dont line up with the factory is holes so you have to measure and drill your own , i love mine fits good , looks awsome what more do you need from a rear deck spoiler you know? lol

OR...you can slice off the 2 outer studs in the e28is spoiler and the remaining studs will fall flat into the existing e30is trunk holes. Then use double-sided tape to secure the outer part of the e28is spoiler onto the e30 trunk.

Yea, but it would over hang the back by 1/2" or something IIRC.

yeah that would probably work , mine seemed like it needed the bolts on the ends the most though to sqaush it down to the trunk to loose the gap , thats just my experience though.

I don't believe my trunk would hold its self up with an e28 spoiler let alone my is spoiler that is sitting in my garage. I'm a fucking lazy pos.
