Are E30's vintage?

I don't think even E21's are vintage. Just old and beat to hell. Vintage means people look at your un-restored car and say, "cool, check out the old BMW!" E30's are like, "Eeeew, can't you afford anything better?"

those of us born in the mid 80's + already consider these cars vintage, square, on the ugly side, and using archaic electronics. If you don't think the car is vintage is because you yourself are outdated and we typically read about people like you in history books.. and stuff.. that is, ofcourse, if you've done anything important.

85's and before are. As far as bmw is concerned we are on the list on real oem, and at V@V, so yes, but no.

i might consider it vintage when i can get the "antique" or "classic" tag here in a few years.

My car is eligible for WI collector and WI hobbyist tags. I chose to DD it year round, and you don't get to drive those tags in January, so I stick with the regular plates. If we do go with collector tags, it'd be our 3rd car with them. 2nd with hobbyist tags.

'allow', lol. You could put a jet engine under the hood of an e30, and the State of Wisconsin would be clueless. No emissions, no visual check, low hassle by PD, etc. I love WI!

Only convertible e30s are "Vintage". All the others are not.
