    I've driven modified E30's, 2002's, E21's, E24's and nothing was like driving my E28 3.5 High comp.

Go buy this one and throw a starter in it, before I do.

Need an auto... cause of my leg and parents who are concerned for my "safety"

There is a CLEAN one for a grand right in my town, but a 5 speed

            I wish I could drive a 5 speed unmodified.

Hey, don't feel bad about the slushbox. I sold my 5spd e30 and am driving around my automatic ( its the one that has all the mods, ironically) I just dork-shift it when I want to keep it in gear or hit redline and it's just fine. There are plenty of times when it is nice to not be shifting gears and feeling the engine and drivetrain clunking around with the constant clutching.

Manually shifting an automatic. Putting it in 1st, then 2nd, then drive.

I've been looking into E28's for a while as well.

I happened upon a Euro E28 on accident, the owner's Dad knew my Dad and it was the "It's a BMW. What do you mean what model?" kind of deal.

There just doesn't seem to be much to choose from lately though. Good Luck 5Toes!

E28s are bountiful around here and cheap.

i'm just a lowly college student, but i consider the power-to-mpg ratio on an m20 to be embarrassing. i can only imagine how much more exacerbated this is on a stock or chipped m30 car.

                              It cant be too bad.

Ive been FAST in town in cars with 13, 50, and 100hp.

You could get going in an e28 if you wanted
