Because I know there are a lot of young(er) drivers here
The issue isn't what you think of drifting or street racing. The issue is profiling.
Geico is classifying things like an STB, lowering springs, performance chips, etc. as "racing equipment" and thus could deny a claim or cancel your insurance if they find them on your car.
Hahaha, Speeding is a problem in America.. wow I bet no one ever knew that....
"Accident caused by speeding" is almost a cliche term now, It's about as useful as "If he hadn't got up in the morning he woudln't be dead in a crash in the evening..."
I hear on the news "Head on crash, speeding a likely factor" followed by "allegedly the vehicle was going 110" and it makes me think.. 'Ok great, if he was going 100k's and the truck came into his lane he'd be any better off?'
Auto-tag "Duh lets ruin our cars" - Maybe when they play it and send someone off the road it's natural selection at it's finest.
'check for bumps scratches etc...'
Maybe your son/daughter is a crap driver who can't park?
Remember, advertising is all about scaring people....
And to show how scared people are, look at everyone running away from The Whitehouse with that cessna hanging around "OMG IT MUST HAVE A NUKE ON IT"
