$3400 would buy quite a nice e34. Then on top of that, you could part the e30 and make another 2-3k.

Make sure it is 100% not at fault for you. I have had inscos try to put s*it on my fault that was not.

Indeed. When you put the car on a frame machine, it will most likely crack some calking, and paint. Check for structural rust in a couple of years. Just sell the car to an unsuspecting R3V member and get another car in better shape.

We are going to paint it after I pull the motor, then put it back together with all fresh seals.

My Dad was a bodyman for 50 years, so this isn't even the 10th car I have done similar stuff to...I grew up in a bodyshop, literally. We will turn out a nice clean little E30 and THEN we will sell it to the general public, with full disclosure, for top dollar. OK, maybe not quite top dollar, but good money...so we can buy me an E31!
