Well it's been a fun time....

But I beleive it's time to move on from my labor of love. Should be gone next week. I know down the road i'm going to miss it, but somebody made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

And yes, I will still be behind the wheel of a BMW, but I've decided to move on to what some may call "the dark side". I'm most likely going to pick up an e36 M3 before the end of the month. I guess it'll be sort of like my car all grown up. Avus over Dove, factory Motorsport wheels, and a few interior bits.

-- i would think a move to an E36 M3 would be a natural progression after time spent with an e30.. i'm sure u will be fine

Meh, there are some of us (myself included) that feel the E36 lacks the same character and driving experience that an e30 will give you. Not knocking the car at all, I'd just prefer an e30, no matter how old I get :)

e36 m3 is the big boy e30, with more luxury and sexiness with the gorgeous body kit, and more power. but it comes with a price of weight, and reduced dependability of e36s.

Admire, yes. Lust, not really. And it's Avus not estoril :)

                You're just a sell-out :P j/k

My brother made the transition to an E36 M3 a couple years back after having owned 3 different E30s. This seems to be like a natural progression for those who want to remian in a BMW yet get into something 'more'. Oddly though, I know someone who recently sold an E36 M3 (which he tracked) so he can get an E30 325is for track. Smart move :D

Good luck dude, I loved the way your car flowed together. Great color aswell, have fun with the E36, and yes you will be back someday.

well it;s apparent I find e30s more intruiging than e36s. for the cost of my 2 e30s i could have a nice e36.

but if I were to do anything, I'd just go e30 m3

Good luck with the new E36. I don't blame you at all for the switch. I would sell my car for an E36 M3 any day. Actually, any nice E36...
