same here. I've been driving with a typical german plate on the front AND a europlate on the REAR with numbers matching from what I was given at the dmv.

I've been tailed by sc and nc state troopers and some even asked me where I got it but I've never been ticketed.

I will say though that the REAR plate has "SC" where there should be a DE and the SC logo where the yellow star circle should be. I also put the two registration stickers on the europlate so they know my plates are up to date.

I am in Tacoma WA and have never had a problem with no front plate (knock on wood). All depends how obvious it is and the cop.

haha sure. just let me blur the actual letters and numbers just in case someone here feels like being a dick and make a formal complaint or something.

well you just get one in that matches yours in the rear.

I wonder if most cops just give Fix-It tickets for plates...l..?

It just depends on where you are. WA seems to be really strict about plates in general. I've been pulled over with no front plate, and once with a Euro front plate. Thankfully I got off with warnings both times. My wife wasn't so lucky when she got a $100+ ticket for no plate on her car.

On the other hand, when we lived in Missouri, it pretty much seemed like anything went. Never got so much as a glance.

ah, NO! You get a ticket for not having front plates.

here you go, sorry for the shitty cell phone pic and editing program on the phone but you get the idea. numbers match. (that's why i even blued out the dmv numbers under the year sticker) and instead of de and the yellow ring of stars i have the state flag and SC.
