How many E30 M3s are left???

This has probably beeg addressed before but I was wondering about how many of the 5,000+ E30 M3s that came to the US are left. I'd say about 2,500.

O they are all retired. No way of really telling except for maybe over on S14.net would give you a starting point of how many are in the US alive and is this Street only or ? Track/bubble cars/barn cars?

probably more than you'd think. Not very many of them are left as daily drivers, it's extremely rare that you see an E30 M3 on the street - unlike it's E36 brother. Most of them are garage/weekend cars, with a few track machines spaced here and there. In the past 5 years I've seen maybe 2 that were daily driven, not counting the ones at the E30 picnic.

I saw a red e30 m3 a few years ago, by my school.
chunks of the bumper plastic were missing, ziptied valence, dents, and a mazda dealership plate frame.

the real question is how many s14 cars are there left intact. Those are the ones that will be worth something. im no purist and appreciate power but i left mine s14 powered because there are hardly any left. I came very close to making it a twin cam turbo car but came to my senses..Outside of message boards or e30 picnics you just dont see them

Yea. If you don't have a s14 in it, it's not a real M3 IMHO.
