On the M Registry there are 703 E30 M3s registered, which is pretty remarkable considering the low total number. Plus a few VINs that are documented as scrapped.

    And my listing:

Interestingly my chassis had a build of April 1987. But the paperwork shows it did not sell at BMW Seattle until Spring of 1989.

These cars did not fly off the showroom floors back in the day.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

You know what they say about the Hennas:

"of the original 150 Henna E30 M3s built, 243 are still in existence" LOL

moral of the story---- 15 miles away was an E30 M3 that I have never seen in the last 15 years of living here. owner says he hasn't driven it in over 10 years, and it isnt registered.
that means that in a 20 mile radius I know of atleast 4E30 M3s that arent even listed as being around anymore.
sounds like a pretty sweet job. Any pics of that car?

I did take pics of it, but they were on my computer that is now dead. actually the car wasn't in perfect shape, it had ugly Borbet Bs on it and someone trid to make the rear fenders wider with a pair of pliers-- had a few bigger dents on it too

Make that 704, I had always thought the PO put the M3 on that list but I couldn't find it, so it's been added :)

I've got a guy that lives near my old house that has one, but he is just a half ass collector. 88 model I believe, told him about this place and s14 but didn't seem to care. Also had a 60's Mustang and a ugly undesirable Maserati. This is just some military bachelor guy that likes cars but just wants to drive them.

Did you put the side marker lights in the front fenders, or do you know if the car came with them from the factory?

Mine is at 89k miles, so we're neck and neck for not driving them very much. ha ha

No idea, got it from PO that way. Noticed that most cars in Japan(where I got mine) have the side markers.

Ive never seen an e30 m3 in real life. They may be extinct like dinosaurs.
