I have a feeling I'm going to be using this a lot, I'm glad I made it.

So is anyone else keeping track of the E30's R3V'd so far this year? I've counted around 7-8.

Leave it to Charlie or Chris to lay it out.

Drifting is some of the stupidest shit I've ever heard of. Take a car with shitty alignment, put tiny bike tires on the back, give it 1000hp, and slide it around the track and see how close you can get to the wall without eating it.

What a fucking waste of money. Where the rest of us are trying to KEEP traction and increase times, you idiots are out there trying to LOSE that traction and slide around like you're ripping the ebrake in mom's Caravan on a snowy day after chorus practice.

Everyone has their own opinion. Mine is clear. But bottom line is, either your lookouts arent as great as they should be, and you hit the semi because they slacked, or lookouts arent gonna help you if you lose control and slide under a trailer. See if you can figure out which is the case.

PS - ColdAccord, my bad on the "drifting is for 240's and skylines" bit, I just think e30's are made for more than just sliding around a friggin parking lot and ending up under a truck.

That is probably as retarded as the 225 tires statement in this thread. If you dont know anything about drifting dont try to ridicule it by saying random shit like "oh it's all about power and skinny tires". I drift with 170hp and 205s in the back and I'll take that over 185s/195s anyday.

Oh my god, like none of you idiots ever took your "spirited drives" around those backroads that are screaming for road debris so you can fly off the road and go straight into some other car. e30s are a waste of money, you will never see the money back. As for drifting, I am fully aware the money I am putting into it, but it's something I enjoy. So to me it's worth the money.

The lookout's job is to sit at the entrance to the warehouse lot checking for traffic passing on the road that goes next to the lot. Between it there is about 20ft of grass that you would have to fly over a curb that no one ever comes close to.

The semi container was in the warehouse lot already, it's not the lookout's fault. The lookout watches for incoming traffic on the neighboring street outside the lot where we slide. No traffic will EVER be involved in this.

True, that's why some people grip, some drift, and some wax their cars and baby it. You pick what you want. I'll give my e30 a good run for the money before it becomes worthless (by age or by crashing it). Like I said, in a couple of years, your car wont be worth more than a Honda Civic.

Hey I wont lie to you, some people are retarded and think they are uber cool by pulling their ebrakes on their Honda Civics. It might just happen. But I guarantee it wont be my car that'll be sliding into yours.

And so sum it all up, you are giving way too much attention to a piece of metal. It's not like it's your girlfriend or something. Go get some waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles to get your mind off your car. As for someone drifting into you, I feel your pain, I'd hate to see an idiot do that to me, but the same shit could happen to you because of other reasons like street racing, drunk driving, etc.

                        Quit your barking boy.

You post on here about how mean Daddy is to you, and how he thinks you're a fucking idiot and won't let you mod your car. Then you go and display the fact that you have the driving ability of an epileptic 15 year old girl with her learner's permit and proceed to wreck your car 3 times in six months trying to powerslide it. You're not asian, you're not cool. You're some 19 year old brazilian fag with a bad haircut and mommy's hand me down car.

Does you being a dumbass and wrecking your car into a god damned trailer affect people? Yes. Does it affect me? Yes. Insurance companies see douchebags like you stuff the car, and put owners of these cars into higher price brackets. I get to pay more money for the priviledge of owning a 16 year old vehicle. Cops get to see people that drive small RWD cars as "drifters", and get to slow down and stare at me every time I see them on the road.

Legitimate racing organizations such as the SCCA, not this nancy-boy "DGtrial" crap, have a hard enough time securing lots for their solo II events. Now they have another strike placed against them due to this shit. "What, you want to hold a race in a parking lot?" "Let me talk to our legal guys, don't these guys street race and "drift", isn't that what happens in parking lots? No sir, we can't have that here" I've seen this happen.

It's your ignorance and your arrogance that bothers me the most. You don't seem to understand that this fucks it up for everyone else. Your stupidity ruins it for the rest of us. Quit being a dumbass and tell your dad to smack you upside the head harder next time.

Believe it or not, I used to be into the azn sensations at one time too. I know what drifting is, and I apologize if my offensive generalizations made you think I didn't know what I was talking about. I'll remember to put the [sarcasm] [/sarcasm] warning out for you next time.

See here you just totally contradict yourself. How can something be a waste of money but be worth it to you at the same time? You can't waste money if it's worth what you spend it on. I'm not talking about Kelly fucking blue book, we're driving 20 year old cars, who the FUCK cares if the NADA resale values aren't where they should be? And for the record (while knocking on the abundant wood in my interior) I've never fucked up any of my BMW's. Not to mention drifitng underneath semis isn't something a lot of people do period.

I guess they should start looking for parked cars jumping out at you while you drift kings are in action. I know how a parked semi trailer can sneak up on the best of us.

Maybe yours won't be, but those of us not doing extensive bodywork with the help of trailers might stand a better chance.

You can't guarantee shit's never gonna happen. You had it right the first time, and you should have stuck to it - you use lookouts to DECREASE the chances of others being involved, not take it out completely.

Look, whatever. This has gotten way too out of hand. It's my mess I'll deal with it. I apologize for being offensive to anyone here.

To those (most of you) who dont agree with what I am doing then it sucks to be you. Your opinion wont change my mind.

Beemerfanatik, if you want to discuss this any longer I'll take it over a PM with you, although you seem to have your mind set alright. I think this forum has been fed enough shit for a day.
