Oh yeah they are safe too. Maybe they aren't that good looking, but they look much better than all the econoboxes running around lately.

we have a subaru, and it's not uhm, fast, by any stretch of the imagination. it's also a dime a dozzen up here, pull into the local granola factory parking lot and you'll see 4-5 of them exactly like it driven by hippies and lesibans.. ;)
but it's perfect to haul a 1 year old around in with a dog, two bikes, and a ton of other crap. I'm not sure how that fits in with your other ideas, it's kind of like a minivan with awd, just shorter.

No, here in the east too its all about *DC and Monstahhh and Ken Block fanboys.
Not gonna lie, I'd love to drive an STi. But I feel it would get tired quickly.. too cheap feeling, too much stigma, ricer bros, attention from the cops..

I love my wrx, 275ft-lbs of torque and 250hp. With just a cat back, intake and a custom tune for about 14psi:) very fun cars, and its very true that the majority of Subaru owners are retards. I use mine as a rally car.
the interiors quality is far worse than the E30's,the only thing on the interior that its got going is the nice bucket seats, a momo steering wheel from the factory and some nice pedals.
Handling and stopping is pretty impressive, I went into buying this car thinking it would be my winter beater and the E30 would be my awesome handling weekend car....but in stock form the wrx can match the speeds that my E30 can take corners at pretty easily with only a little bit more body roll.
Its an impressive car to drive with a cheap interior, its got lots of light weight bits, the trunk for example weighs like a 1/4 of what an E30's trunk weighs and there's not really any insulation or sound deadening in the roof(you will hear the rain)Last edited by kamotors; 01-05-2011, 11:05 AM.
