Why does it seem like everyone with an Mtech vert always gets screwed horribly by insurance? Good luck man :(

Because it's just a body kit, at least to the insurance company.

Print the roundel article "open air m technic" PDF online. Has some info, briefly mentions the appearance verts. G/L

You need to get a listing for sale Mtech cars as close to your area as possible.

            Start with that.

Then if you have any receipts like paint and engine work, show that to the adjuster.

These things are negotiate. They will lowball you are the beginning.

Just stick it out. They will get worn out from dicking around after a (long) while and give you what you want to just STFU and go home.

I guess I will need help in looking up current ads on mtechs for sale. I doubt there are any FS locally

There was a guy with a full M Tech that got totaled out by a teenager. He was in the same situation as you except his had a lot more damage. They totaled it and while he got a decent amount, he didn't feel fairly compensated for the value of it. They basically saw his car as an appearance package car.

Your damage does not look bad at all and none of the M Tech bits appear to have been damaged. If they were, the replacement parts would probably total it. So in your case, the cost of repair should be the same as a regular cabby. Just find out what other M Techs are selling for to give them an idea of what they are worth.

I asked my agent about this a few months back. He recommended instead to keep a good, detailed log of what has been done to the car along with pics and receipts. He said that for their purposes (State Farm) they're more likely to base a value off that than a 3rd party appraisal.

                        Good luck!
