The documentary is technically already out, but like you, I haven't see any information on public showings or anything. A couple random showings have been around the country like one at the Austin GP and Sundance but I am hoping for a limited theatrical release.
EDIT: It will be in theaters in the UK in June and I think we will hopefully get it before them, since it has already been shown here a couple times at Sundance and the South by Southwest Film Festival.
EDITx2:http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2...ing-to-the-us/ June for us too it seems!

I am hopeful too, but it seems a bit early for Mclaren to be throwing a "Hail Mary".

I'll try and find a link, but apparently Jenson Button drove a 2008 McLaren F1 car around Bathurst today. The V8 Supercars usually get around in 2:08.xxx-10.xxx and Jenson got around in about 1:48.xxx.

He then went around in a V8 supercar in about 2:17.xxx

This video gives you some idea of how loud they are too, you can just hear the reverberation for aaaages while he's going up mountain straight.

and if this doesn't embed (haven't done it before)

Fuck. Bernie is still whining about having sprinklers.

I think its a stupid idea. Not only is it pointless because the degradation of the new tires will add more pit stops and overtaking.

It has a chance to be bias toward which ever team the man with the button likes. For example, Bernie wants it to be just like rain. So there will be a warning that the race might go wet. Ok, So we have cars come in and switch to intermediates. Great well now what if the sprinklers never come on... You cant track some guy with a button like you can track real rain.

I hope we have a break-away series so we can go back to v-10s and real advancements in motor sport. Bernie is trying pretty hard to take F1 backwards in time it seems.

I don't remember where but I was reading about this and the guy added "ecclestone is also considering turning off the lights at shanghai for 10 seconds at an undisclosed time but... "

and i don't remember the punch line but I remember laughing pretty hard, any clue what it was?

I see a differing view point between the teammates at HRT:

                              Luizzi: Top 10 is possible

Karthikeyan: We might not even qualify

I am wondering what will happen with Virgin and HRT with the 107% rule.

While I generally agree with Die Bernie Die sentiment, at least as far as the engines are concerned, that's all Jean Todt/FIA.

The FIA has been talking about having a "World" engine for a few years now. WRC and WTCC are already running a new-for-this-year turbo 1.6L 4 cyl.

Sorry, I don't want to watch F1 if it's using the same engine as SEAT touring car.

                                That is just fucking lame.
