Also supposedly with the greater ability to overtake, it may be a valid strategy this time. Assuming the higher downforce cars don't streak into the sunset before the McMercs get the chance to use the rear wing and KERS.

Is it just me our do the tires look super funky. Also the majority of the downforce comes from the diffuser on these cars. Their straight line speed is largely due to the f-duct,and the merc power plant. All the wings and what not is mainly to try and reduce drag and turbulence from the wheels. They certainly have put a lot of work into the design m surprising for a team that was in the champ running so late into last year. I thought they were changing livery this year.

Kubica was in a bad rally crash today reports are he will miss the season and perhaps it might end his caraer. Multiple leg and arm fractures. Damn damn damn hope it is not as bad as first reports are saying.
