That was an amazing race, great overtaking move of Seb over Fernando and Michaels counter-move in the same spot over Lewis! Great race indeed, I know it would be hard on the teams but I wish we had more back to back races :( need my F1 fix asap after such a great race.

Some great, great racing. A really enjoyable one. The start by Alonso and going into the grass at nearly 300kmh and hearing the tire break and regain traction.
Schumi on defense, although I think he made at least one distinct double move if not more. And Vettel definitely showed some racecraft today.
Too bad about Nico, I really wanted to see how his strategy would work.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

Hey I like hammy but the facts are the facts.... Although I think Button came up on MS so quick he wasnt able to react, and block. I really didnt think MS made to bad of a double move, as the announcers were going bezerk over it. He made a defensive move to the right and then took his normal line to the left to setup for the corner.... I think it was classic textbook defensive driving,,,, whish their was more of it. In the context of MS and the type of racing he made his carear out of it was nothing.... ah the good ol days when you could block to your hearts content and it took brass balls to make a pass.

Was anyone else shocked how Vettel opened up such a gap so easily,,,, seriously impressive pace. That chassis has no faults. It is just goes like stink on any type of circut. Not taking anything away from vettel as he is clearly able to get more out of the car then his counterpart.
The drag race down to one was pretty damn special, Alonso on the grass, Hammy and Vettel looked like they were rubbung wheels for the length of the straight, and MS threading through traffic. Good stuff, lets hope they never go to a rolling start.Last edited by naplesE30; 09-12-2011, 07:18 AM.

"I believe schumacher hates hamilton, he was running him into the grass, double blocked him a couple of times without a penalty from the FIA, and kept pushing him more than once. Button, on the other hand, passed without so much as a stare from schumi."09/1989 325i 4 Door

Once you "move" off-line to defend, say a pass up the inside, you must then take the compromised corner entry. "Moving" back to the racing line is two moves.
Simple really.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com
