Like nando said. They are the same size. It's just that the doors are smaller and with the rear door, it pushes the b piller forward. Thus making an even smaller hole for the driver and pass. to get out of in the front.

I have particular tastes. Many may argue, but I think early models (84-87) look better as 4 doors, and late models (88-91) look better as 2 doors.
Early models have more of a classic, vintage look but for some reason a 2 door just looks incomplete...(unless you drop it and throw on some Euro trim.) A 4 door just looks classier and more well put together.
With late models, there's something about the way they rounded out the rear quarter panels, and used wider taillights. That just looks better with a sleeker, longer singular door.
Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule..For example, Trackjunkie, I think your late model 4 door is looking fantastic these days.'87 325i "Chewey" (RIP, my beloved)

Thats right! Technically yes, but I think TheDude is more concerned with the notion that if he buys a 4 door he will lose points in the cool and fun factors of the e30. Most cars he would be correct but not in an e30.
I see that you live north of me so make sure your looking for the e30 with the least amount of RUST and shit mods done.Comment
