Props to you for punishing her the right way. If you don't teach her this lesson now while the crime is small you are going to ruin her life. If I got caught stealing shit when I was young, I would come home to a whoop ass beating and probably not sit right for a week or two. Hes writing online and probably in a pretty bad mood due to how things panned out. I doubt he calls his daughter a bitch normally. You guys get all defensive and shit but you let this stuff slide and thats one steep ass slope.Comment

I always had to go out and find a tree branch for my whoopin. If I got one that was too thin and broke, I had to go find another one that was thicker, and the counting started from 1 again.

if i were a 14 year old girl living in this era the worst possible punishment would be to have my social relations cut off...cell phone, facebook/internet, etc..
(and my e30 would be squeaky clean)

is the op making the child pay really that big of a deal?
i mean when you brake something being dumb you paid for it then if you had real parents. reason being to learn to take responsibility.
granted op caused the damage but only because he was probably rushing with a million things go through his head. I feel like this is fare for the most part, should probably cut the kid off from the outside world for a lil too..Comment
