I have a nice big fat white wall scratch on my back bumper from the one and only time someone parked my car for me. Wasn't a valet, but a city parking garage. I couldn't find a spot on the street and I was desperate.

I watched the guy pull up to me like a bat out of hell, so I inspected the car and found the scratch. I went down into the garage, and the paint on the wall matched the color of the scratch exactly. When I started to accuse him of causing the scratch, he got extremely defensive and started pointing out all the other cosmetic flaws on my "piece of shit" car.

Eventually it turned into a screaming match. I was about to drive away and leave it at that, when the parking attendant smacked the top of my car, then opened up my door and raised his fist in the air. So I called the police.

I made him wait while the police came. He obviously didn't think I would do that, so when they were on their way, he sat very quiet and nervous. Of course once the police arrived, there was not much they could do, except the parking attendant finally did what he was supposed to do in the first place. Give me some sort of damage report form that I could fill out and send to the corporate headquarters. But there was so much red tape on it I knew it was going to be more of a headache.

After all that, he still didn't admit he did it and apologize.

Long story short, I will never let anyone park again.
