It could be that the laws in WV are different or perhaps your particular insurer had some other restrictions/exceptions.

That's why I would encourage all you guys/gals to ACTUALLY READ your policy when they send it to you, or swing by your agent's office and pickup a copy of the policy.
Many people fall into a false sense of security that insurance will just cover any and everything.
Remember when you buy insurance, it's really a contract, which is why you should read the policy. It amounts to "I agree to pay company X, for the coverage provided in policy Y." By paying for the policy you are voluntarily accepting the conditions of the contract.
Most policies now awaydays have eliminated most of the "legalese" so they are readable to normal people. However, I'd be happy to help with any questions, or you can always just ask your agent for clarification on things.
