Whats the curb weight of a early is w/ an s5x?
And I've heard dyno numbers of 270/5 whp?

yes I've been trying this. the second question was more of a confirmation, the first one was because I can only find stock curb weights of these vehicles

Total stock weight - weight of an m20 + weight of an s5x = weight of an early is with an s5x

Find the numbers, put them in the equation, solve.

SEARCH, there are several threads that give you exactly what you want in the 24v forum, and several outside.

As far as dyno numbers, sure there are s5x's that have dyno'ed at 270. They weren't stock though...I suggest getting 2 of the big bottles by tonight to get the extra power!

M20 is 258lbs & single vanos m50/m50tu 1989-1998 299lbs, double vanos m52/m52tu 1996-1999 308lbs.

->1987 325is weighed in at 2687lbs

different years are different weights too. earlier ones are actually rated a bit heavier - they have things like 2" thick slabs of tar in the trunk and those silly 50lb spare tire doughnuts.
