that is weak!! I hope there's anything you can do to salvage something out of what seems like a shitty deal. Thank you for the warning. I certainly will never do business with them based on your experience.

Sorry to hear about this and really hope Mr. Nelson comes thru, mans up and takes care of it. That's waaaay to much piston and far to little response for a $1,200 bill. Kudo's for being so calm. I know I'd be pretty pissed at this point.

So there were no pistons available for sale in France? I wouldn't order anything more complicated than a cotton T-shirt from an overseas vendor.

TEP doesn't make the pistons - they just order them from JE with what are supposed to be the proper specs for his engine.

Wow, considering that I'm starting to look for custom pistons for a stroker application, I will make sure to stay far away from TEP. I have no desire to waste time with a company that has such poor customer service.

It suckz when the stuff you buy doesn't fit the needs of your project or are just out of specs. I kinda had the same situation but I could fix it, nothing from the other world that a sandband (sp?) machine couldn't remedy ( top end of the rods will hit against the piston when rotating it).

As someone else suggested, time to look for shorter rods or shorter stroke or just make a cool & expensive piston table for your house.
