Whats a money pit? Also that is your opinion. IMO euro bumpers are much cleaner than the late model plastics and body style. Low rear arches are fuckin lame.

Exactly the reason why I don't wanna bother with converting my clean e30. I'd rather jsut pay someone else for the work they did...much cheaper that way!

I think its worth it. M30 swap, 5 lug, euro bumpers, beautiful interior. Good luck building one for less than 10 grand. Just the complete euro bumpers will run you around a grand, 3-4 grand for the swap it you do most of the work, you do the math for the rest. of course this is my very humble opinion.

Seems about the right price for me. He should get it.

That car has some things going for it but yeah that asking price is a bit optimistic at best.
Plus the guy is a total fucktard.
He's also done a early vert m30 car and was asking $16k for it at some point.

I like the Euro bumpers and 5-lugs as much as the next guy although this particular car is a bit conflicting.
By that I mean its a decent early car Euro bumpers but then you have to run big late model high offset wheels.

Thats a nice car. And no matter what a car is gonna be a deal if its already comming with 5 lug and a swap. Half the money you put into that stuff disapears once its all put together. If this is your dream car your getting a hell of a deal if you do this over building it yourself.

But this isnt everyones dream car, so stop bitching about the price.

And im liking the e46 wheels.

He states in the ad that he has 22k into it. It sure sucks when you have to sell a project car like that, no way he'll get a fraction of went into it back.
Soooo, does that mean i can sell my car with s50 for the same?

Oooh look at it! Just look at it, will ya?

Buy it for $8000. I think that's a deal. Like everyone else already mentioned.. clean shell, great interior, M30 swap, 5 lug, decent wheels, euro bumpers, great paint.. all adds up to more than $8000, not including the time.

We are getting to the point that a seriously clean plastic car will fetch $6500, that price is excellent. Even that TechII looks nice.

I was looking at that car too. Im local if you want me to check it out. I'll take Teaguer with me. We will steal the eurobumps and leave it with my PBs....LOL.

Of course, if we both go look at it, it will most likely be 3 days before we report back. We cant seem to get anything done quickly.....LOLZ again.

this car has a ton of pluses going for it with the euro bumpers and over all clean chassis. but 10/10 I would take an m20 stroker over an m30. the minor horse power and torque is not work the weight gain on the front wheels. this is hugely obvious at autocross. so if you just want a clean fun car that drives more like a corvette then then this is a killer car, even at 9k.

The car has been on ebay a couple times before and never sold for his asking price. So in 19 days when the auction is over and it doesn't sell again make him an offer then he might bite...

Talked to the guy a several months ago when I was looking... He wanted more like 12k then though, ha. He wouldn't budge on price at all and wanted a premium for the work done even though it's nothing crazy.
