There's a clean 2002tii FS in my province, would it be wrong to swap a 95 M42 in there? I can get all the parts for the swap dirt cheap and it would be a fun car.

Do the Evo engine and think Ariel Atom....
You've sold me, within 5 years if I have enough money...just maybe.

It probably wouldn't be worth it, considering the M42 and the tii engine have about the same hp.

Wasn't the TII engine the M10?

I had no idea the 2002 tii was so rare 7450 made!! and had 140hp and 130 ft/lb torque. I don't have garage space right now but I'm trying to get my buddy to buy it and restore it.

The tii was mechanically injected, not turbo'd. The 2002 Turbo is even rarer and had 170hp. Just to attempt to clarify...

hehe, unless you turbo the m10 like i did with my tii, and it's a whole lot faster than my m3.... my m3 is a garage queen....
my 02 does everything better than my m3 does... except over 120 mph..
but our cars weren't meant to go straight...
