    Key fob question

I have a 08 nissan sentra and the last month or so I would go out to my car and the fob wouldn't open or start my car. I called the dealership and they said it's probably just the battery. So I switched to my other one for now. Seems to be doing the same thing randomly I thought. At the same time me and my fiancee have been remodeling a house. I realized every time it has stopped working it was after I had came out of that house. Is that just a coincidence or what do you think is causing it.

Did you try re-pairing the key and the car?

I will have to go to the dealership and see if they can re program it. I haven't tried re-pairing the key and the car, but the thing is that after I leave that house and go somewhere else it will work fine.

You could have very high RF interference near the house.

Get a hold of a portable spectrum analyzer and go to town. Map the signals in and around the house and the signal that your key runs on. Probably not worth the trouble.

Take it to datsun and have it reprogrammed, they should do it for no charge.

First off. People have been posting tech questions in general discussion. GD is for links to shit on streetfire or jalopnik. Not to ask how to reprogram a lexus fob.

Second this is a E30 forum. Ok we can let other BMW related topics go but WHAT THE FUCK YOU AREN'T EVEN IN THE SAME GENERAL VACINITY AS GERMANY.

German and Japanese cars differ enough as does 1988 and 2008 that we cannot help you with your problem any more than you can google it.
Ma che cazzo state dicendo? :|
