old man totalled my e30. i am loving state farm.

i never posted a pic of my eta on the forums, so here it is. taken a few weeks before it got totalled last saturday.

this old man pulled from a turn lane back into traffic. right in front of me as i was driving by him at 40mph. his fault. totalled my e30. poor little eta. it had just gotten to be pretty nice looking. the only major item left was to repaint the euroweaves.

the insurance company gave me a little over 3 grand.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

the tire got pushed back into the frame. wheel well was suddenly a bit larger. lol. frame was bent too, it was pita to remove the strut bar. i wanted to keep the weaves for my ix, but the drivers side front got bent. :/

still, i got more than enough for another set of euroweaves. :)

Thought you said that you couldn't keep the parts?

And to think you were going to sell it to me for not even half of that. True story!

buy back is $650. not worth it.

the items that are worth something, h&r oe sports, euroweaves, ski pass, are worth getting out of the junkyard. if i can find it...

i wasnt hurt at all. my tire hit his tire. absorbed a lot of the impact. i went up and over his tire. came down hard though.
