Nice score! If they are your dream wheels then that is awesome! If not, sell them and get your dream wheels. You win either way!

Oh yeah I should join the fight. RS's are cool but I have no desire to own them.

      thanks luke.

and yes, i fucking hate cleaning weaves. i really do. and i was looking for a set of 15x7s when i found these. and i really wanted something in the enkei rpf1 weight range, >10lbs. which these most definitely arent.

they are still totally worth all the draw backs. :)

I hate that the wheels you traded for have become a superficial holy grail of all that is rolling stock because the (mainly) VW and euro community said so, and everyone and their grandmother is jumping on your nuts because of it.

I'm stoked that you got them, and I'm honestly happy for you that you're so pumped on getting them, it's a killer deal. But I hate RS's for the same reason I hate diamonds. They're just rocks. But society and the world economy have decided that for some reason, they're worth more than other rocks. Same goes for the BBS RS.

Not sure why the RS hating is so strong. There are alot of wheels out there but NONE (IMO) that suit the E30 like the BBS RS.

But it's just an opinion and one that is clearly shared with the majority of the Euro community and maybe that's why some of you are choosing to hate on them.

This is all new to me, I never knew that they were looked at that way. Just thought they were nice wheels for that era car.

Is it a R3V thing? I don't post on here much.

They are great wheels that do fit the E30 perfectly. However, they are over-priced, over-played, and hard to clean, imo. I think that is where most people are going with this. I don't think people actually hate RS's. I'm sure some of it is jealousy too though, not sure why, they are just wheels people.

            Definitely a pain to clean.

But why are they considered over priced? Isn't it a supply and demand thing.

Are they easy to buy on here? Back in '06 I waited for a year and a half to get a set from Germany. Was most likely because of the sizes I wanted though (17x8.5 and 9.5) but how can I expect something so hard to come by to be cheap??

I'll respectfully disagree. There are several wheels out there that suit the E30 perfectly, I by no means think that the RS is the single best one.

                  But seriously, sweet trade OP.

I love RS's and (as previously stated) despite what the internet may portray, they are rare wheels. You almost never see them in person outside of the occasional euro meet. They're a beautiful, classic, strong, lightweight, multipiece wheel that looks perfect on a classy high end luxury car or even on the race track.

There are plenty of reasons why the RS is so coveted, evidence of this can be seen in the numerous companies seeking to profit off of the timeless design, about 15 years after theyve been out of production.

No hate here, glad to see another e30 rockin' the RS's. I would rather see them on an e30 than on some shitty stanceworked Jetta or Golf.

Agree....... I just picked up a set of BBS RG's 15 x 7 in trade for ACS type 1 rep's 15x7. I then put them on my dads e30. I run a set of BBS RS reps 16x8 on mine.

but believe or not I'd rather have M systems over rs'

btw, wanna help me get the engine block out of my trunk sometime this week?
