    87 Hardtop find.

So I'm looking for either an 86 or 87 325e/es. but there's an 87 325i hardtop convertible that just popped up. Just wondering what you guys think I should do? grab the vert and try and trade it/sell it for a coupe eta, or just wait for the right one to pop up in my price range?

Why is it that you are looking for an Eta? You miss riding the short bus while growing up?

maybe he wants to build a "2.7 stroker"?

its easier to do a top end swap (and cheaper) than a bottom end swap.

Yep, that's what I'm thinking. and for the time being get better gas mileage than an i. and I don't want an m42 car as I like the rear wheel arch on the DB cars better than the laters. So I narrowed down that I want, really, a 325es, LSD rear end, sport seats, and I love that front air dam.

But I think if an eta in decent shape doesn't pop up soon I might take the guy up on it. I'm just super tired of trucks and want to get a car again. Haven't had a car since my e28 and that was four years ago...

I have a '87 Alpine/black 325iS that I would consider trading for a cabrio if this one you might buy is in good shape. Its a Washington car so no rust...

I just don't really want a vert... around here they're a dime a dozen, whereas nice hardtop coupes are a huge rarity...

but what I like about it is I'm not actually buying it, I have my 94 s10 up for trade for an e30 on CL and he told me about it. he also has an 85 318i.
