Meaty tires on wide wheels ITT

Who here is running meaty tires on wide wheels? (7.5"+)

I want to run 15x8 or maybe even 15x8.5 RS001s but without having to run rubberband tires. (205/50 or 205/55 perhaps?) I don't mind a saturday with my fenders and roller either.

I was slammed and ran not-quite-cheap wheels and skinny tires on my old 330i, so I'm just tired of having the feeling I will an suicide myself if the wheels were to get damaged in any way shape or form.

Plus I wouldn't mind the early 90's beefy look for a change.

I was running 15x8 with 225-50 but they were stretched to much. Look for something in a 245 range. Low arches in the rear are going to be your sore point.

nah. you can fit 245s under late arches easy. Just not with euro-poke offsets, or soft suspension.

205s won't look "beefy" on an 8.5" wheel.

Just 225s, nothing special but bigger than the 195s most people put on 9" rims around here :p

I was gonna say... 205 may be beefy for stanceworks, but 235 or bigger is getting beefy on an E30. Oh, and bump for more meaty E30's.

What offset are those? They look really practical for an 8" wheel.

245s are not "beefy" on an 8" wide rim. thats about damn flush.

225-245 is the range for an 8" wide rim.
