    Stolen wheel prevention?

posted this in the wheels and tire section already and not a single reply.

I have searched for them and can't find anything.

Does anyone know where i could find extended length, I am running 10mm front and 15mm rear spacers, wheel locks for the e30?

or what are you guys doing so your wheels don't get stolen?

Get 2 different sets of locks for your wheels, from the local auto parts store ;)

I don't run wheel locks and my wheels are plenty expensive, locks only keep honest people honest, experienced thieves will be prepared to quickly remove wheel locks. I pay attention to where I park and don't leave my vehicle anywhere I can't monitor it overnight.

Pretty much useless against a determined thief.

True, but if you think that everyone is a determined thief for you $800 wheels then you will live in fear.

Just use any lock or double up like Iron-E said because most wouldnt take their time

Get studs and locking nuts, the thread pattern is 12x1.5, i think stock lugs are 40mm so add the thickness of your spacer and a little for good measure and that is the size stud you need.

Wheel locks are easy to get off. Just keep your car in a well lit nice area and if you have to frequent bad parts of town take your nice wheels off yourself!
