My friend got a brand new civic back in 02 for first car, and since then has dropped several large bills into the thing.

d17 vtec sohc with stafford fabrication turbo kit. T3 super 60 turbo custom header, front mount intercooler, piping, vortech fmu, denso ik20s, HKS boost controller, Gready turbo timer, autometer gauges, magnaflow 2.25 exhaust. 36k miles
Car is pushing 9psi and runs with stock srt-4s. So why sell? Its an auto.
replacing with some crappy e36 that has two more cylinders then his little honda.....

I've learned a lot about turbo, how to install, work on, set-up. Driven the car a few times, it pulls good, but the auto tranny just plain sucks. Manual swap is a little more involved though. I think the m3 will be a good replacement. His parents have 01 740i and 323ci. They are looking at a 550i when they start shipping.
