I like the front, and the engine sounds like an amazing thing, the only thing I don't like is the rear styling. Whats the point of having a badass front if your killer engine leaves only the tail lights as a sight for other cars?

P.S. Jordan hates the look of the ne 5ers, I love it. It looks more aerodynamic and sporty. It does resemble a japanese anime a lil, if there was every a cartoon about racing BMWs, but this is a cool little effect. Oh well, you gotta be around them a lot to appreciate their sexiness. It and the Z4 are sexy machines. ..... I still don't like the 745 really however......

Awesome. Unfortunately the E60 at school has been dead for a few weeks because someone decided to tried to re-program the CAS module... apparently the right firmware isnt available for proper re-programing of the E60 yet. :?

I have this double-edged sword thing about the new 5. Its got some impressive technology packed into it and there's no question the M5 variant is going to kick some ass. I still have some issues with its styling though. One things' for sure.....the new 5 is a measurable improvement over the new 7.

I'm liking the looks of the new 6 series.....certainly more attractive compared to the 5. I've even seen a couple of spy photos of a cabrio version in the works.....it too looks really good. If the M6 is given the green light, it should make for an amazing car.

Would I ever own one? Probably not.....unless I won the lottery and had more cash on hand than I knew what to do with.

Everytime I see the new 5 series I want to vomit. The 7 series has grown on me as has the z4. I just don't think that I can get used to the new look of the 5. While BMW has lots of new technology they seriously need to reconsider their styling. Stop the madness! :shock:

Anyway, the 7 speed gear box. Will it actually be useful, or will it just cause constant shifting and bragging rights to BMW to say they put a 7 speed on a production car?
