Blunts car has one of the cleanest swaps I have ever seen, it was absolutely amazing in person. Kudos for him.

Thanks man. I appreciate it. It was a labor of love. I love the way it looks, and the serious power it has. Better looking than most BMW's in general, and faster than most of them too. It'll finally meet its' match with the forth coming ///M cars. It really is fun to see the ///M guys' expressions from my rear view mirror.Originally posted by DigitalwaveBy the way, your car kicks some serious ass.Originally posted by bmw332iYeah, it is pretty nice. One of the best made wings I've seen. Took primer and paint beautifully.Originally posted by DigitalwaveWow, that ACS wing is amazing. I don't recall ever seeing one before.Comment

E30s real strong point is what i mentioned. If not, who cares, just a late 80s german car that ticks. (True beauty is on the track).Originally posted by WerksminiI probably wont be hitting the track for more than 5 or so auto-x's a year. Perhaps a track day here and there. Im thinking about a E36 m3 as well but those are soo over played. Chicks liking the car would be nice. I would like some decent power so I would probably be going with a m50/s50 a year or so after if I was to get an E30. Meh, I just need to be inspired.
The 951 is soo fast though. So much power available. MMMMm
I should really go check out m-triples car. He lives like 2 miles away from me.
Who gives a fuck if E36 M3s are overplayed or seem common on Bimmerforums?? They are a better car: the engine you'd like to swap in, better suspension, better brakes, a little heavier sure, but sexier, and more luxury and coolness. You can learn fine on the track in one, it's just not going to be as slow and be careful, but they are supposedly very easy because of the rear suspension and comfortable to drive fast.
It'll cost more, but so will modding an E30 to their level, and you won't get it to be as good-looking or attractive.
951s are a pain. And they are stilll old. Just get a E36 M3. You can auto-x it and have fun with it.
I'm getting a 95 M3 after college. They are great cars. E30s have their strengths at times and in places, but for your desires the E36 M3 seems best IMO.
Although, it's no project. It's got what it needs, so before black grills or whatever, you'll be "bored" by not modding it. Oh fucking well. Just enjoy it. You can change and throw $$$ at an E30 to make it cooler, but I'd rather have the better car if I were you.Comment

this is entirely subjective. I see 99 million E36s every day and 0 nice E30s (except my own). yawn.Originally posted by rwh11385you won't get it to be as good-looking or attractive.Comment

Man, Robert is really coming around from the E36 hating.
Jay, does that red car have throwing star covers on it? Just looks like plain M-Systems on it in that pic.Comment

Ted's fucking dream-machine. If you only knew how good it looked in person.Originally posted by IL DUCE
He once said that he'd entertain offers around $25k.

Anything with the full M-tech 1 kit is instantly my favorite. That is amazing looking.Originally posted by MystikalThis car:

M-Tech I, 5-lug, real Throwing Stars, 235's, S50, suede SRD's, immaculate paintwork, the list goes on.
If you like dropping serious coin, then go for the 951. My friend has one, and they are freakishly expensive.
I wish I had an E36. I could get angel eyes, and then everyone would give me mad e-props.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.Comment

Not in person they aren't.Originally posted by MystikalNo covers in the pic, sorry for the confusion (he has them though). I think M-Systems with the covers on are pretty ugly; your replicas looked a bunch better.Originally posted by DigitalwaveJay, does that red car have throwing star covers on it? You mean just the condition of your set or what? I've seen plenty of real T-Stars, they all look cheap to me. The actual alloys look much sharper, more defined.Originally posted by DigitalwaveNot in person they aren't.Originally posted by MystikalNo covers in the pic, sorry for the confusion (he has them though). Nothing to do with the condition. I just don't really like the shape of the replicas from any view other than straight from the side. That was one of the main reason I sold them. They have all sorts of weird curves and the angles just don't work when viewed from the side (especially the way the spokes sweep in to the lip).Comment
