so all i'm finding are smoked hella smileys from turner motorsport. Where does one get non-smoked ones?

I think they are NLA. you can buy just the projector housings and high beams, but you can't get them as a new set with housings and everything AFAIK.

Anyone have a picture of a bronzit with smoked smileys? I still don't think they'd look good though. I may just get that same ones again if I can't find clear ones.

I don't hate her... besides I may be getting smileys out of the whole ordeal.

I feel bad for her, she hasn't said a word to me since it happened, it's like when a puppy is being trained and they know they messed up by pooping in the house.

I actually have a set of US ellips for sale if you end up not finding smilies. I also have that trim piece that goes between the grilles and the bumper, but it is from an early car so it is separate from the valence. I don't know if you could use it, but it's just taking up space in my basement. Unfortunately it's Delphin, iirc.

At least it was the hummer so it was high enough to hit only the fender and headlamp. Btw, Youre cursed.

From your first picture, there's no question about it. It is damaged and would take a fair amount of precision hammering and shaping to get it back. This is mainly due to where it bent/buckled. A new valance from the dealer is like 240 or somewhere around there abouts. You could always source a shitty valance that has a good upper half and weld or rivet it on to your lower half.

i think I'm cursed baaaaad. Maybe it's a sign I need a cleaner e30 so I'll HAVE to get a single garage for it and park it there.

I hope your wrong... I hope you're really wrong. But if not, I may have found a mini e30 junkyard not too far from my house. pictures of said yard up tomorrow afternoon hopefully. me a rightcoastbias are going to pick up my fender there tomorrow.

And as for the smileys, I gave up on them for now and I may just buy a new set of regular hella projectors. Bronzit is the only color, imo, where the smoked smileys look a little off. If it was any other color, believe me, I'd be paying for a new set of $500 smoked smileys from turner.

But again, If anyone has a picture of them on a bronzit it may change my mind. :giggle:

UPDATE

well, turns out that black bar of paint that goes along the bottom of the body is more common than not. My fender had bronzit painted all the way down but the more common thing is to have the black tar bar thing running through the fender, doors, and on to the back.

Soooo it looks like i'm just gonna put the replacement fender on and paint that black bar on the rest of the car since I'm on a student budget. I'm also gonna go ahead and shadowline the trim and possibly even get the smoked smileys since i'm adding so much black but that is the least of my worries right now. We'll see if that even ends up happening.

P.S. guy at the junk yard wanted $300 for a set of gold bbs wheels off of a e28 533i. one had the paint coming off.

I know where a few sets of non-smoked genuine (real glass lenses) reside and are possibly for sale. Let me know if you're interested. Otherwise, I have a set of smoked US spec ellipsoids and one singular MINT ass US ellip kicking around the garage.
