Is that all I need like what about camber and stuff.. I want a sporty ride, stiff but daily drive-able I hate body roll too....

    opinions?
my buddy talked to MARK from ground control, he has the billy sports, and wants GC conversion kit for his vert.
i forget his exact spring rates, but i think its like 750+ all around, said he got the stiffest GC offers in spring rates

Dont do it, expensive ! Bc racing coilovers, comes with custom spring rates front and rear. Custom valved shocks, Camber plates and adjustable struts. Ride height is adjustable by threading the shock body into the base and thus not loosing shock travel. I ordered the shorter springs and 550 front and 675 rear springs. Rides amazing compared to my buddys on Oem billie sports pared with 350/350 GCs. his ride like absolute shit in my opinion. If you spend the 2 grand on GCs with koni stuts then they have less bounce but the lower you go the less shock travel thus shitty ride quality, unlike mine that ride the same regardless of height. To have the welding done cost me 70 bucks from speedfactory best welder in Tacoma. My vote is BCs best bang for your buck. BCracing.com Br type bmw e30

I went out on a limb and got the set off a member here do to being NIB and at a decent price. Honestly, I was impressed with initial build quality and the rear shock with variable length is pretty trick. As for spring rates, the ones provided are plenty for the street, and the struts when adjusted to be on the stiffer side do a good job at keeping down spring oscillations.

Overall handling and feel of the set up is confidence inspiring in daily duty. I can't comment on performance driving other than some canyon runs but would have no second thoughts on tracking the vehicle with this set up.

As far as long term durability, I guess we'll see as no one has really put that many miles on the set up.

Ummmm DUH all you need is the GC conversion kit and weld the perches in and your good to go. I would rather kill a kitten than ride on anything but GC.

I have never heard of this and it tickles my fancy.
Can you explain it a bit more? Sounds awesome for us lowriders.

its pretty common among a lot of full body coilovers.

thanks for mentioning bc coilovers. They look like an alternative to ground control.

Hi all. ive been a member for a long time but couldnt post, so now that i somehow can, this is my first post. thought i had before, but i guess not!

I have D2 coilovers. I drove them daily for about 6 months, and they were only around $600 on ebay a while back when I got them, shipped from Taiwan, lol. The ride was fine, I did have the shocks a little stiff but it wasnt overly harsh. I never got to track them, but I am going to replaced the rear with a stiffer spring when I get the car back on the road. I also removed the rear adjuster completly, and they went really low, probly too low. For what I paid, im not really complaining, but if I had the money at the time I would probly have done GCs.
