Fuel Injector Cleaner deal @ Costco

Hey R3v, just a heads up that Costco is selling 6-packs of the Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner for $12.99 right now. It's about 1/3 the price of buying it from an auto parts store. No coupon needed!

    Cool, thanks for the tip.

On a related topic... does anyone put injector cleaner in every or most every fill up? I did that for awhile and my car seems to never run better than when I do that for 3-4 tanks in a row.

    Any thoughts?

For $13 I plan on using the whole case in my 525i. Each of my next 6 fill-ups will get a bottle. The e30 has rebuilt injectors so not much point in that car.

Two bottles of 91 or 93% alcohol after a fill up very once in a while does wonders, buyer than that stuff:)

I wouldn't think so, unless you're buying Arco fuel.. in which case, you'll need all the extra additives you could afford. the top tier fuels are usually about the same.

still, if it were really 20 cents a gallon more, at ~15 gallons a fillup that's $3.00, which is marginally more than the additives.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Has anyone actually noticed a difference using this type of stuff?

Isn't fuel injector cleaner just higher-octane gasoline? I've always been told this stuff was bullshit, kind of surprised that you use it, Darin.
