    Bimmer noobie

Got my first e30 (87 325is) this weekend. I've been a porsche guy since I've had a license but the roundel bug finally bit me. Funny story, I wasn't even looking for one but saw a for sale sign and decided to check it out. It was so clean I couldn't not buy it! He was asking 3500 but I got it for 2500.

Here are the pics just as I picked it up...along with my 84 944.

    Love the car, very clean.

LOVE the interior - its Cardinal, not "red" - so you can update your sig ;)

Love the porsche too - real clean.

Welcome to R3V - may you be an integral part of our loving and wonderful community.

Oh, let's not forget to get this out of the way:

Your mom is so _____, she ______ (feel free to fill in the blanks with just about anything that comes to mind.)

    :)

    Oh, and bronzit sucks.

Nice find... you have a good fleet there.

And if I can offer a word of warning... watch out for MR 325, Jordan, Charlie and nando...

They may be critical of just about anything you might say, but they are nice guys for the most part ;) The rest of us here are just genuinely assholes.

So, any plans for your new find? Maintenance? Upgrades? Blingy Flashy Mods?

Is that a Rieger front lip or is that how they came on the '87's?

First thing I want to do is some 15 or 16" BBS so I can run some decent rubber. I also bought a plastic rear bumper from a guy parting a 91 318is for 40 bucks.

As for the suspension, I'll keep it simple for now - lowering springs, ST swaybars, and whatever maintenance items are necessary.

Lol, I already got my share of nando - "es100s sucks, vulcantire sucks..." :P

I'm an asshole. Sell the rear bumper for a profit, conversion is involved.

Get IE Stage 3's with Konis.
And US Ellips ASAP with 9005s.

Car looks like an awesome starting point.

his seats look more red than any cardinal seats I ahve ever seen. do they get dark with age?

                            Very nice looking ride.

Makes me jelious. I cannot even find a e30 that is worth having, much less a good one for $2500~!
