Mr English professor, maybe you need to get your 2nd grade english book out too - it's "Carriers" (plural), with no apostrophe. Apostrophes are used for contractions and to show possesion, neither of which apply to your sentence.

I have AT&T, and I live in a fairly rural area compared to some of you. My coverage is fine, and my phone isn't entirely gay looking. I have my ringtone set to, uhm, RING. yeah. The only thing I hate is my minutes don't roll over, and I have way too many for the amount of calling I do.

That's all the worthless posts you'll get out of me for today. ;)

Second, we'd have to know what area you're looking to use the phone in. Carrier's vary in terms of service and coverage from region to region. Many people hate sprint, in my area, I happen to be happy with them, they tend to have good coverage and call clarity. That being said, Cingular & ATT are both dreadful in my area, as they are still stuck with their worthless TDMA network in many parts. Generally, what you want to look for is coverage area, overall cost of plans, minutes, etc, wheter or not it has a sort of data plan (big for me) and so on.

Chosing a service based on what phones they have is silly. If you are a male, and you worry about how small or "cool" your phone is, then you are a homosexual.

Wow... someone was having a bad day...

In my area I have used Verizon, ATT and Voice Stream (now T-Mobile)... I think Verizon and ATT (current service) are just fine. I didnt have good luck with T-Mobile. When choosing a carrier though, I would look look at service and then what type of deals on calling plans you can get. Most offer the same/simular phones.
