    CAI setup?

    Hello :)

    I'm currently looking into fitting an aftermarket computer on my Alpina to delete the AFM and have better tuning etc. My question is, has anyone got any photo's of their engine bays with a CAI setup or an AFM delete setup just so i can get an idea of what to do.

        That kit up there also fits M20's.
        I have one on my MAF converted m20, but have no pics at the moment.

            There is a pic of mine in the engine porn thread. I used th same set up with my split second maf kit and now with ms2extra.....if I can ever get it to run.

                  I am running the split second set-up on my daily with the original airbox cut out and the MAF mounted in it, will get pics sometime today.

                    why not try megasquirt? that use's no maf or afm..idk about looking stock because you cant use a stock intake boot

                        If you felt like dropping the coin, you could just buy MIller's intake along with a MAF and a tune.

                          I'm going to run a similar setup to a megasquirt, the new computer going in is a Microtech Mt-8, this deletes the afm and you just run a temperature sensor along with your coolant/temp sensor etc etc.

                            is that microtech mt-8 thaaat good

                            cause its A LOT of money to me for MILLER maf and chips..just for a intake improvement
                            i might have to start researching more megasquirt and microtech

                            if you can just delete that heavy ass box and run off temperatures and tuning id rather not give all that money to MILLER.
                            a friend of mine is running a turbo m20 with no AFM or MAF. it rips 2
                            m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.
