So my car is in need of a oil change and im trying to find out witch OIL to add...can anyone help or suggest any...also is it better to do it my self or to take in somewhere...thankz for the help

I use 15w40. Going to switch to 20w50, it's cheaper.

I use Rotella T 15w-40 all year.

I usually do it myself and use the Castrol green bottle (high milliage) stuff, I'm pretty confident that if I go past a few hundred miles from 3k, I'll still be good.

I always follow the owner's manual when it comes to oil and octane recommendations. Engineer's specify them for a reason. For M20s 20W-50. It's super easy to DIY. Any filter is fine assuming normal driving and oil change intervals.

I only use Mann.

Its an m20 an oil filter wont kill it.
