Lexus IS250 6 speed manual. I have to admit that I really liked these cars when they came out. Seems like a pretty good value over an e46 or e90.
I'd rather get a 2001 e46 m3 6-speed (no SMG) for $9K. The e46 m3's are at about the bottom of their pricing. Won't be long before they start appreciating. Well sorted e36 m3s are already picking up.

    The Lexus will be scrap.

SMG came out in 2002. While you can convert the SMG to not be an SMG, you still have a lot of nonsense related to it. Better to get the true six speed without having to swap.

Yeah, but they're not practical daily drivers. An M3 for $9k will likely be pretty beat and I don't want to deal with expensive s54 issues and definitely not frame cracking issues.

I'll take the e46 m3. Any day of the week. Over time it will be worth about 6x the 330

The car just needs to be maintained.

"The price is the price if you don't like it move on to another e30 with 250k+ Miles LOL!"

Jerk doesn't even put pics of the interior, engine bay or undercarriage in the ad? This guy will hear crickets for a decade before this price is considered by anyone not just released from the looney bin.

Good God I hate when people put shit like "Carfax certified."

Hooray, that means nothing was reported. Didn't mean the car wasn't cobbled together with the leftovers of 5 different rust buckets.

I'll happily show you the clean Carfax of some rusty shell I've parted out in the past.

                        End rant.

^Don't laugh, we've seen a few e30s in that condition easily surpass the $10k mark on BaT. If somebody wanted to try and restore an e30 to mint condition (rebuilding drivetrain, suspension, body and interior) you're going to spend $20k+.

Good luck then. The market will dictate the price, till it busts.
