No front valance, auto, but it seems like it's worth a look. What does a clean, auto ,early IS go for these days?

Not bad, but what's up with that single exhaust?

It’s nice, but nowhere near 18k nice imo. Especially with just a 3.0

So odd that they'd do a manual swap without an engine upgrade.

Right? Like why not stick a 4.0 in there while they’re at it

18k for that e34 wagon is crack smoker pricing. I don't care how clean it is. 5k is probably realistic.

Ya, wierd interior. And tired of seeing M-pars on E34.

I think the guy is crazy even asking 18. Likely putting a lot of value on his BMW enthusiast title. If I am a decal holding member of BMW of America, I can ask however much I want.

Not a bad restoration IMO, but those white gauges have to go.

You should have been clued in when you read "frame on resto" that this seller does not have a damn clue.

Additionally, when you see stuff like a color change but no engine bay repaint, a missing door latch bezel, and a likely cheap radio with no bezel you should never buy at a premium price point.

I quickly scanned the ad before getting back to work. I normally pride myself for nit picking the shit out of things.

The one thing I did catch was that the seats are vinyl. Didn’t all ‘IS’ models come with leather standard? Unless they did a swap from natur to black.

I think only pre 89s generally had leather, perhaps you could have ordered it in 89-90, but vinyl was standard IIRC.

That car has rust. I was interested as well.
